This tour is an excellent option for nature enthusiasts and chocolate lovers.
The adventure begins with a visit to the refuge in Manzanillo town, where visitors can immerse themselves in the lush vegetation, diverse wildlife, and unique ecosystems of this prismatic forest. During the hike, it is common to spot various animals, including monkeys, sloths, snakes, frogs, vipers, spiders, crickets, and more.
After the hike, clients will be driven to an indigenous town, where they will savor a traditional lunch prepared according to the Bribri culture. Following lunch, they will embark on a chocolate tour, where they will gain insights into the culture, history, medicinal plants, and the Usule (indigenous conical house). The tour culminates with a hands-on experience in organic chocolate making, from the plant to the finished product.
To conclude the tour, clients will be taken to the Bribri waterfall, where they can enjoy a refreshing swim.
