What makes this tour special?
We will leave Puerto Viejo at 7:45 am, then drive for like 30 minutes, arrive at the Bribrí Indigenous reserve, where we’ll join an Indigenous family, learn about their culture and a variety of medicinal plants. Participants will then have the opportunity to learn about the history of the cacao tree, taste the fruit, and make puréed chocolate. After the chocolate tour, we will visit a refreshing waterfall in the mountains of Talamanca. Participants will have the opportunity to swim in the large pool under the falls. After that, we will return to Puerto Viejo. A fruit will be included in this tour. For the pick up, if you are staying in or around Puerto Viejo, Cocles or Punta Uva, just send a message with the name of your hotel, and we will pick you up there.
